Delete through the Android game

In the updated Android preview, open Menu → Cloud save & account → Delete account & cloud saves. Confirm your identity with your linked Google or Facebook sign-in, then confirm permanent deletion.

The deletion flow removes your Firebase game account and its Android and browser cloud journal slots, if present. The Android flow also clears that device’s game profile, progress, earned Guild journal, and local cloud recovery copies. Data on other devices, exported backup files, screenshots, and copies in platform backups must be removed separately.

Request deletion without the game

Email official.aetherashsupport@gmail.com with the subject Aether & Ash Forge — Account deletion. Say that you want your game account and cloud saves deleted. Include the game account ID if available, your sign-in provider, and a reply address. If you cannot find the account ID, explain which sign-in method you used so we can help identify the account.

We will verify that the request belongs to the account owner before deleting data and reply with the outcome or any further information needed. Do not send a Google or Facebook password, access token, payment card number, or identity document. Sending this email is a deletion request; it does not automatically delete an account before verification.

What is removed and what may remain

• Removed: the developer-hosted game authentication account and its cloud save documents, including backed-up profile choices, discoveries, quests, journal entries, settings, and earned Guild progress.
• Separate services: your Google or Facebook account is not deleted. You can remove the game’s connection in that provider’s account settings.
• Purchases: Google Play keeps its own transaction records. Deleting your game account does not cancel a subscription. Manage subscriptions in Google Play.
• Local copies: clear the game’s Android storage or the browser game’s site data on other devices. Remove exported files and platform backups separately.
• Support and required records: request deletion of support correspondence in the same email if desired. Limited records may be retained where required or permitted for legal, security, or request-handling purposes; any relevant limitation will be explained. Providers manage their own log and backup retention under their policies.

Remove a journal saved on this device

For Android, use your phone’s Settings → Apps → Aether & Ash Forge → Storage → Clear data (wording varies by device). For the browser game, clear the game’s site data in your browser.

These actions can permanently erase local progress and rewards. Reset Game Progress / Start a new journal is not a full data-deletion tool: profile preferences, support drafts, earned appearances, and previous saves may remain. Clearing device storage does not delete a cloud account or cancel subscriptions.
